And while experts and media are talking about “social distancing”, Let’s reframe that. While we DO need to stay at least 1.5 meters or 5-6 feet away from others whenever outside our home, now—more than ever—we want to INCREASE social proximity and connectedness. Let’s intentionally and strategically foster relationships by picking up the phone. Call your parents, your friends, that elderly neighbor. And make sure to stay connected with your LIFE group. We as a church are actively looking for a common platform that would enable LIFE Groups to meet in a virtual living room setting, and we will keep you informed as we get closer to a solution. But, until then, contact your LG leader. They are there for you and will continue to “gather” online using FaceTime, WhatsApp, Skype, Zoom, or whatever works best. If you’re not already part of a LIFE group, NOW is the time! You’ll find a list of LIFE groups here or contact Pastor Michi or me or any of our leaders, and we’ll make sure to get you connected.
Fellowship and Spiritual Life
Our LIFE Groups are still going on. Not in one place as usual, but with the help of Skype, WhatsApp or Google Hangout in many places, on different days during the week. We cannot and do not want to miss spiritual life, sharing about how we are doing, time in God’s Word and praying together. If you don’t have a group yet, just join a group. Get in touch and the leader will be happy to get in touch with you.
